It operates through non-ferrous materials such as wood, plastic, or aluminium. Reed contacts last for millions of operating cycles under micro-controller voltage and current logic-level loads. Ideally suited for position and limit sensing, security, window and door alarm systems and linear actuators, security and access control, factory automation, process equipment, major appliances, small appliances, proximity, and limit sensing applications. Functions best with the 57135 actuator. It Helps implement efficient proximity/access and energy management systems.
