The EKMC1603111 from Panasonic is a long distance detection type passive infrared motion sensor in TO-5 package. This sensor detects change in infrared radiation which occurs, when there is a movement by a person or object by the change in surrounding temperature. There are several conditions to sense target such as temperature difference between target and surroundings should be 4C, movement speed is 1.0m/s and target size is 700mm x 250mm. EKMC1603111 is mainly used in lighting, Anti crime devices, home appliances, commercial equipments and audio and visual devices.
